Testimonial

1936 Mercedes 170v Roadster, this car is under restoration and is now painted awaiting completion. The vehicke was in a very poor condition and required major structural repairs. The body was removed from the chassis which was blasted, then treated and painted. It was repiped and all mountings were replaced ready foor the body to be set back on.
The body had major rot problems both in the metal shell and the wood frame, both required major work with new parts having to be made by a carpenter for the wooden frame, and new metal panels having to be fabricated in house by our own technicians.
Lead solder was then applied to the body prior to painting, with the complete car being assembled before the paint to ensure a perfect fit of the panels. The car has been painted two tone black & yellow using ICI Auqa Base, with ICI high solid lacquer, the car was wet flatted and then relacquered to obtain the correct gloss.
